This is an album that truly showcases the despair and and darkness of Doom Metal. Hailing from Russia, Comatose Vigil has managed to create one of the most depressing pieces of Funeral Doom that I've ever heard, and not to sound high and mighty, but I've heard a lot of it. With crushing guitars, washing synth and choral passages and SLOW AS FUCK Funeral Doom drumming, this album encases everything that a good Doom album should be. This release is truly full of emotion, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for a good attentive listen.
